Job Specifications:
- Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.99 / hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
- Skill Level: Advanced
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining resort facilities from a cleanliness standpoint, leading and working with a team or independently.
- Lead/train a team to achieve daily outcomes. Responsible for managing staff outcomes related to the daily workload.
- Lead the 2nd shift team during the ski season.
- Responsible for ensuring that all custodial tasks are conducted in a safe workplace environment.
- Control inventory of custodial supplies by maintaining inventory records.
- Mechanically/operationally understand the use of all tools and equipment.
- Proactively communicate maintenance needs to ensure timely ordering of parts and equipment.
- Engage with guests and staff while exhibiting Vail Resorts Core Values.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead staff performing hands-on duties.
- Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up.
- Must possess proven ability to lead, delegate, direct and motivate subordinates
- Understanding of Resort’s customer expectation.
- Must demonstrate high degree of energy and self-motivation; must possess the ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with guests, staff, management, and other departments.
- Ability to determine problems and effectively manage the situation in a timely fashion.
- Possess high degree of sensitivity to accepted workplace safety practices.
- Must possess valid Vermont driver’s license.
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
