Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.99 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time
  • Skill Level: Advanced  

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining resort facilities from a cleanliness standpoint, leading and working with a team or independently. 
  • Lead/train a team to achieve daily outcomes.  Responsible for managing staff outcomes related to the daily workload.
  • Lead the 2nd shift team during the ski season.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all custodial tasks are conducted in a safe workplace environment.
  • Control inventory of custodial supplies by maintaining inventory records.
  • Mechanically/operationally understand the use of all tools and equipment.
  • Proactively communicate maintenance needs to ensure timely ordering of parts and equipment.
  • Engage with guests and staff while exhibiting Vail Resorts Core Values.  

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead staff performing hands-on duties.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up.
  • Must possess proven ability to lead, delegate, direct and motivate subordinates
  • Understanding of Resort’s customer expectation.
  • Must demonstrate high degree of energy and self-motivation; must possess the ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with guests, staff, management, and other departments.
  • Ability to determine problems and effectively manage the situation in a timely fashion.
  • Possess high degree of sensitivity to accepted workplace safety practices.
  • Must possess valid Vermont driver’s license.

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
