Job Summary:
Stevens Pass is hiring a full-time, year-round Communications Manager. This role is based in-resort at Stevens Pass.The Communications Manager for Stevens Pass is responsible for promoting and protecting the reputation of the resort through strategic communications, effective and creative storytelling, proactive media relations, social media management, issues management and crisis communications. The Manager acts as a spokesperson for the resort and provides guidance and counsel to resort leadership with internal and external communications initiatives. This role oversees the resorts’ social media accounts, content strategy and capture, and management of the resort Content Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have experience in communications, media relations, storytelling, social media, copywriting and issues management. This position reports to the Director of Communications, West Region and is also part of the broader West Region Communications team, responsible for building the reputation of its resorts, Vail Resorts, and the Epic Pass.
