Job Summary:

The Banquet Busser supports banquet operations by ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining cleanliness and organization of event spaces, and assisting banquet servers with food and beverage service. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience while adhering to company service standards, safety requirements, and brand expectations. 

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $2.83/hr - $7.77/hr
  • If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips (Add this bullet only for tipped roles) 
  • Employment Type: Year Round 
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
  • Housing Availability: No

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up, clear, and reset banquet tables and event spaces.
  • Assist banquet servers with non-alcoholic beverage service and guest requests.
  • Refill beverages and replenish guest tables as needed.
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to banquet guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain banquet stations with adequate china, glassware, silverware, linens, and service supplies.
  • Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from guest tables and service areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, service stations, and storage areas.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and communicate event details, menu changes, and guest needs.
  • Support banquet setup and breakdown activities before and after events.
  • Follow all company policies, service standards, food safety practices, and health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties and complete assigned side work.
  • Report maintenance or equipment concerns to leadership promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude with guests and team members.
  • Support Food & Beverage management initiatives and other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry banquet equipment for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous Food & Beverage, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.

The expected pay range is $2.83/hr - $7.77/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
