Job Summary:
The Asst. Manager Adventure Center will be a daily operational leader of an activity or activities. This is a supervisory position, with direct reports, which is responsible for performance management/evaluations, hiring/staffing, and scheduling for an attraction or activity Provides day-to-day work direction to team members; enforces policies and procedures; monitors safety; and handles complaints, either back of house (construction) or front of house (customer service)
Ensures attractions are mechanically sound for operational use through inspections and repair. Provides training and communication concerning best practices and methods. Performs all tasks for which work group is responsible, as needed. In this position, you will be responsible for directly monitoring the safety and overall quality of the activities operation.

This is a combined sitting and standing/walking position for up to 10 hours each. May lift up to 100 lbs. Workers will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a rare to occasional basis. Will use hands for grasping and pushing/pulling at a 25 lb. to 30 lb. rate. Worksite can be up to 100% outside. Exposed to all temperatures and all moisture ranges. Hazards are mechanical, electrical, burns, and ice/snow. Uniform shirts are supplied. Sensory skills of vision, hearing, touch, smell, and speech are needed. Must occasionally make quick decisions regarding the safety of up to 200 guests. Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees in situations that may have an audience (i.e., large lift lines). Will perform service recovery and resolve any guest issues. Leadership of 30+ staff members.
The expected pay range is $25.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
