Job Summary

The Snowmaking team is currently looking for a Supervisor to join us on a Year-Round basis! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the snowmaking manager in carrying out the day-to-day activities of the snowmaking department. The Snowmaking supervisor will work closely with management teams from other mountain operations departments and divisional leadership Supervisors are responsible for the oversight of snowmakers working in the department which includes; during the winter the Supervisor will provide direction, leadership, and expertise to all snowmaking activity. During the summer the role will be responsible for our Summer Maintenance and Operations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safety, training and supervision of Snowmaking and Summer Maintenance Crews.

  • Organizing and delegating the workload of Snowmaking and Summer Maintenance Crews.

  • Hiring and performance reviews/evaluation of Snowmaking and Summer Maintenance Crews.

  • Supervising the proper installation of maintenance of snowmaking equipment and systems.

  • Overseeing and understanding/inspection of Construction Projects including the management of third party supplier/contractors.

  • Communication with other departments regarding Snowmaking and Summer Maintenance needs.

  • As a leader you will be expected to seek and pursue personal development as well as develop the team around you through empowerment, mentorship training and timely feedback.

  • Must be proactive and look for improvements in all aspects of the operation on a consistent basis


Job Requirements


  • 2 years Supervisory/Management experience

  • Valid Driving License

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Intermediate Skier/Snowboarder

  • Experience with Snowmobiles and Snowmaking Equipment

  • Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous

  • Able to withstand inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time.

  • Able to work and supervise day, grave shifts, depending upon need.

  • Frequently be able to lift 75 pounds and carry it 100 yards.

  • Ability to stand and walk in work boots for long portions of your shift in varying difficulty of terrain.


  • 4 years Snowmaking or Mountain Ops experience
