Job Summary:
As the Front Desk Agent, you are the face of the hotel! You are the first point of contact for all guests and help make their stay a memorable one. If you are new to hospitality, a front desk agent is a great starting point with huge potential for upward mobility.
 
Job Specifications:
  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr 

  • Employment Type: Year Round  

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  

  • Housing Availability: No  

 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, prompt and professional manner.
  • Oversee the registering of guests, issuing of building codes, providing information on hotel services and room location, and processing payments for stay, and guest room move request according to brand standards
  • Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner with a pleasant, energetic voice
  • Anticipate guests and owners needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests passing by
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Help resolve discrepancies with guest bills
  • Ensure that the Front Desk is always kept tidy and clean
  • Communicate with maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure guest and owner needs are met
  • Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
  • Other duties as assigned

 
Job Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent–required
  • Computer skills with ability to learn quickly –required
  • Basic reading, spelling, and math skills –required.
  • Ability to converse clearly and comfortably in English with many different types of people–required
  • Ability to work with guests using good social manners, diplomacy and tact – required
  • One year of customer service experience –preferred

 

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
