Job Summary:
The Base Ops Asst. Manager: Warehouse is responsible for overseeing the Warehouse, Sign Shop, and Uniform functions at Park City Mountain. The Warehouse function includes the shipping and receiving of all packages sent to Park City Mountain, and the general oversight of the warehouse area. The Sign Shop is responsible for the creation of signs and name tags for the resort. And the Uniform function is responsible for all outdoor company uniforms, including the distribution, collection, and overall management. This is a supervisory with direct reports and is responsible for hiring & staffing, scheduling, and performance management.  The Assistant Manager also fulfills day-to-day responsibilities of the organization as needed and performs all tasks for which the work group is responsible, at the highest level of expertise.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tracking and processing of all mountain shipments and packages
  • Interface and collaborate with departments sharing warehouse; work with all depts. to coordinate deliveries and pickups
  • Own organization, storage, and cleanliness of the Munchkin warehouse and the parking lot
  • Manage the sign shop process, and assist as needed
  • Overseeing the distribution, collection, and tracking of all outdoor employee uniforms for all Park City Mountain base areas
  • Supervise and schedule seasonal staff at all base area locations
  • Responsible for ordering and receiving the yearly uniform capital order
  • Manage the inventory program to track the distribution and collection of all uniforms
  • Track inventory, and run reports as necessary to maintain best use of inventory
  • Maintain proactive “needs” list for future uniform orders, back stock, and uniform store operations
  • Provide day-to-day work direction and leadership to direct reports and team members
  • Partner with manager to develop performance goals collaboratively with their direct reports, and ensure they are clearly communicated and current
  • Effectively plan, coordinate, and deliver staff meetings and trainings as required
  • Train and onboard new staff as required
  • Responsible for time and labor for direct reports
  • Fill in for manager when required
  • Drive forklift as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • 3 years supervisor experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication with internal and external customers
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills
  • Must be very detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Be able to multi-task several duties at once
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and managers of all levels
  • Be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Diver license with clean driving record
  • Must have ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly
