Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading zip line and haul back course tours, communicating safety and other information to guests, proper use and implementation of equipment, cleaning and maintaining all areas of Adventure Zone
  • Responsible for providing a safe environment for the guest, while creating a positive experience
  • Responsible for safe operation of zip line, haul back course and Adventure Zone
  • Responsible for daily safety checks on equipment and completion of safety inspection logs
  • Responsible for performing zip line tower evacuations and rescues
  • Actively communicate and work with all departments to ensure the highest level of guest service
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of all work areas
  • Responsible for communication with the ticket, rental/retail department to ensure all liability and ticketing procedures are carried out properly within the operational guidelines
  • Responsible for participating in all safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and guests
  • Additional duties as requested by the supervisor

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds (heavy lifting)
  • Per manufacturer requirements, must be between 100-250 pounds
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Ability to access and guide all areas of the zip line
  • Ability to communicate via phone or radio
  • Must be able to use harness and rope system of zip line
  • Ability to climb and descend

Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:

  • Must complete 24 hours of training, with employment contingent on passing a test at the conclusion of training
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience preferred
