Applications are still being accepted in anticipation of opening our resorts for the summer season, contingent on our ability to resume operations.



  • The transportation of guests from public accommodations in Ludlow and the surrounding area to Okemo Mountain Resort
  • The transportation of guests from primary parking areas at Okemo Mountain Resort and the Jackson Gore area to identified drop off areas
  • The transportation of guests on Okemo Mountain Resort – covering various points of interest via a pre-determined schedule within Okemo’s lodging pool
  • The transportation of Okemo Mountain Resort staff from pre-assigned lodging to their respective work areas
  • The transportation of guests for special events and functions located at Okemo Mountain Resort
  • Inspect vehicle assigned before, during and at the end of every shift to include reporting areas of concern to the bussing coordinator for any remedial action necessary – inspections must be in accordance with all current applicable motor vehicle regulations as instituted by the Federal Government and the State of Vermont’s Department of Motor Vehicles in accordance with a commercial motor vehicle
  • Inspect the assigned vehicle for lost items and trash to include returning lost articles to the bussing coordinator, picking up trash and sweeping out the unit to insure a neat and clean appearance – any damage to the interior/seats should be reported as soon as possible so that those repairs can be instituted as soon as practical
  • Converse with and monitor the guests comments to include reporting comments and concerns to the appropriate staff members to keep staff members aware of areas for improvement or “Pat on the Back” that need to be handed out
  • Maintain a proactive approach to situations that are ion the driver’s area of responsibility to include helping staff members where an obvious “second set of hands” is helpful – leave no guest with a question unanswered and maintain forward momentum for all our guests, internal and external
  • Remain alert to and respond to changing conditions throughout the day and respond with an attitude that is not only flexible but upbeat and constructive



  • Ability to operate a large commercial motor vehicle in a safe manor
  • Possess strong communication skills to include first and foremost the ability to listen before speaking in a pleasant but clear and concise manner to convey a positive attitude


Physical Demands:

  • Provide a neat, well-groomed appearance in accordance with the general guidelines established in the Okemo Mountain Resort’s employee handbook
  • Ability to sit, stand or drive for extended periods of time
  • Ability to drive a standard commercial motor vehicle without special modifications
  • Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds (medium to heavy lifting)
  • Maintain the appropriate cold weather clothing to allow for outdoor exposure to all weather conditions for limited duration
  • Ability to walk on all types of terrain and work in most types of weather conditions



  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol exam
  • Possess a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement
  • Maintain a current DOT medical certificate
  • Must pass CDL drug testing requirements which requires flexibility in schedule due to time sensitivity
