Job Specifications:

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time
  • Other Specifics: Tipped

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ordering, serving and charging of food and drink to guests
  • Set up of dining room and stocking of wait station prior to each shift
  • Constant cleanliness of tables, dining area, service and wait stations
  • Provide the guest with an enjoyable experience in every possible way
  • Monitor drinking in accordance with Vermont Liquor Laws
  • Available at all time to assist co-workers when necessary to establish a smooth running operation
  • Reset and restock at the end of each shift
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills:

  • Ability to understand and fulfill the Principles, Dream, Plan and Values of Okemo Mountain Resort
  • Ability to carry out company’s expectations of guest service both internally and externally
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, in close proximity to team members
  • Guest service oriented and possession of strong organizational, mathematical and interpersonal skills, communication, both verbal; including phone skills and written, general mechanical skills and computer literacy
  • Good judgment skills as they relate to Vermont Liquor Laws, as well as, serving the public in a courteous manner

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, climb stairs and bend for extended periods of time, as well as, some overhead reaching and carrying of food trays
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (medium lifting)

 

Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:

  • High School diploma required or equivalent
  • Hold and maintain Vermont Liquor Board certification
  • Previous experience required
