The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for exceeding guests expectations and ensuring a world class resort experience while providing top notch guest service. The position requires you to greet each guest and provide assistance at the base areas, as well as other areas in the village and on the mountain. The Guest Services Attendant may provide safety guidance and information. This individual will be asked to give information to guests and assist in various roles assigned to them. In this role, you will be the problem solver for our guests; the first and last stop in ensuring their needs are met. Join us in creating the Experience of a Lifetime!

  

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating a friendly, fun, team environment for the experience of a lifetime for fellow employees and guests
  • Promoting, embracing, and adhering to Vail Resorts’ Mission and Core Values
  • Meet and greet guest while displaying positive guest service.  Commit to guest satisfaction and assume responsibility for guest care and solving problems.
  • Support Supervisors and other staff in daily guest service duties as well as assist in the event of emergencies where special procedures need to be implemented, such as lift shutdown or activities closures.
  • Monitor resort and lift areas for safety and notify the appropriate personnel of any problems or unusual conditions.  Assist in implementing emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Answer guest questions by becoming familiar with the resort layout, products, and services, or by asking someone who can answer the guest’s questions.
  • Help to preserve our natural environment.
  • Display positive work ethic and be a team player.
  • Assist other departments as needed, including ticket scanning, ticket sales, activities operations.
  • Must be able to perform alternative functions/other duties as assigned.
  • Help guests and fellow teammates enjoy their time on the mountain - remember that fun is our product- create fun, enjoy your work and share the contagious spirit.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stay enthusiastic and perform well when busy
  • Ability to work outside, on your feet, in all weather conditions for long periods of time
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
