Job Summary

The Assistant Front Office Manager position will support hospitality division managers with operational and administrative duties.  The goal is to manage and implement all hospitality operational standards/ visions in order to provide the highest standard of courteous service while meeting and exceeding profit levels.  This position will have responsibilities in the management of the hospitality GX scores and comments exhibiting excellent hospitality guest service skills and demonstrates a strong attention to detail and follow up.  This position will require outstanding customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills in order to assist and resolve guest/owner issues and complaints.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee training and daily operations of the bellman, valet, ski check and front desks.
  • Ensure that Vail Resort’s guest service standards are being applied consistently and departmental policies and procedures are followed.
  • Must remedy all guest complaints or issues.
  • Intercept all guest issues and respond directly with guests on behalf of the property.
  • Review the current days expected service levels and check all VIP and owners special request reservations to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Assist with department accounting in resolving various billing issues on guest folios.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all resort guests have the highest quality guest service experience possible by adhering to the brand standards while maintaining a profitable department.
  • Utilize all guest profiles to personalize the guest experience and provide preferences on accommodations and services
  • Must develops a strong working relationship with co-workers and managers throughout the property to ensure communication and teamwork are at optimum levels

 

The budgeted range starts at $40,000 - $46,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
