Job Summary:
Service is at the core of everything we do. As a Team Lead, you will oversee daily operations, support and coach team members, and ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery. This role combines leadership and guest service, with a focus on team accountability, performance, smooth operations, and delivering an exceptional experience for every guest.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and workflow coordination
- Act as the lead point of contact during assigned shifts, resolving or escalating issues as needed
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Model company values and service standards
- Provide accurate information and facilitate guest access to resort products, services, and experiences
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to manage customer profiles, process payments, discounts, exchanges, and returns, and complete daily audits
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new tools and applications, including Microsoft Office, to support daily tasks
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort products, services, policies, and procedures
- Deliver exceptional guest service by addressing questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and external partners via phone, email, and in person
- Train, coach, and support team members; assist with hiring and onboarding
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and corrective action when needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest experiences
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas, facilities, and equipment, including active participation in daily and routine cleaning tasks
- Monitor and manage operational supplies and inventory as needed
- Willing and able to work across multiple locations and service areas, demonstrating versatility and actively developing knowledge and proficiency across all products and services within the department
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in guest service, ski school, or related operations
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Strong communication skills (fluent in English)
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $27.05/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
