The Terrain Park Lead Attendant will assist the terrain park manager and terrain park day staff supervisor in the overall delivery of the terrain park experience for our employees and guests.  This individual is responsible to assist with the supervision, training, and motivation of the team.  The terrain park lead attendant will perform a Daily risk management assessment of terrain park venue including design and testing of features as well as the completion of daily logs. The terrain park lead attendant will be responsible for implementing park attendant safety and other training programs. The terrain park lead attendant will assist in carrying out all guest service, operational, and financial goals and objectives set forth by the terrain park manager, the terrain park best practices group, and upper management.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist terrain park manager and day staff supervisor with the training, coaching, supervising, and leading of terrain park attendants
  • Lead terrain park attendants to effectively monitor and maintenance all terrain parks, half pipes, events, and other areas of responsibility throughout the day
  • Perform a Daily assessment of risk, feature inspections and the maintenance and testing of features as well as completion of daily logs in Supervisors absence
  • Assist all supervisors and terrain park manager in planning with all associated features, trails, special events, and other construction plans
  • Ensure that all animation, fencing, rope-lines, and terrain park signage are functional at all times
  • Assist Ski Patrol/Mountain Safety with accident investigations, regulating terrain park guest behaviors, and ensuring the overall safety of our terrain parks 
  • Act as role model regarding employee development and guest service related initiatives
  • Assist in all trainings for Day Staff including all daily objectives and special projects needs
  • Other duties as assigned by Terrain Park Manager/ Day Staff supervisor

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of  2 years of prior terrain park experience
  • Minimum of 1 season of supervisory experience
  • Must be competent in Microsoft office
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Must be able to pass a Level 7 skiing/riding ability test
  • Must have own ski or ride equipment
  • Must be able to lift over 50lbs.
