Job Summary:

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and assists with the day to day oversight of all maintenence and agronomic practices. The Asst Superintendent will complete all the standard VR manager/leadership trainings in the LIFT within 2 months of being hired into this position.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Housing: Currently Available
  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 / hour
  • Shift Availability: Full Time

 

Duties include:

  • Daily supervision of maintenence team members to complete all tasks and projects in a timely manner.
  • Provides guidance and training to staff as needed.
  • Ability to manage staff with a positive and respectful leadership style.
  • Developing individual team members to learn new skills, and provide feedback as needed.
  • Irrigation system operation and repair experience a plus.
  • 2-3 years of golf turfgrass maintenence experience.
  • Turfgrass management degree a plus, but not mandatory for a candidate eager to learn and succeed. 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $30.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
