Job Summary:

Plumber / HVAC will be responsible for the competent completion of all plumbing tasks for the property management operations and properties.  These tasks will range from drain cleanouts, copper supply line repairs, minor drain line repairs, kitchen and bathroom fixture installs, and leak locating and repair.  HVAC experience is preferred in commercial boiler systems, air handlers, and electrical components linked to these systems, but is not required.  This is a plumbing / HVAC position, but you will work for a maintenance team and will be required to complete daily maintenance tasks as required as well.  We will do our best to keep you dialed into your skill set, but flexibility will be expected.  This is an excellent position to keep your skills sharp and dive into some new tasks, all while experiencing the benefits of working for a ski industry giant.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $20 - $36 / hour
  • Shift and Schedule Availability: Full Time 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work hand in hand with the property management team to ensure that buildings and units are maintained.
  • Repair and replace parts, piping, valves and other fittings, diagnostic and repair work on commercial heating systems
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs for room and public areas and equipment including fire pumps, co detection systems, exhaust fans, boiler maintenance, air handler services, etc.
  • Work with other departments and area managers as required.
  • Willingness and ability to assist with daily maintenance repairs as required, including drywall patches, painting, minor woodworking, fireplace diagnostics and repairs, appliance repairs, etc.
  • Plan, scope and coordinate projects with sub-contractors when required and obtain the required estimates.
  • Order and maintain required parts for stock for critical equipment for assigned areas.
  • Provide training to maintenance staff when required in job specific tasks.
  • Abide by all safety rules and regulations from corporate, State and Federal.
  • Attend training classes for job specific skills.
  • Other duties as assigned related to function

 

Job Requirements:

  • Very knowledgeable with plumbing systems, electrical, controls, kitchen appliances a plus.
  • Familiarity with building preventative maintenance preferred, including: Fire pumps, commercial sump pumps, elevators, etc.
  • Follow all safety procedures and alert supervisor to any unsafe conditions that may exist.
  • Knowledgeable on Lock out tag out procedure, OSHA, EPA and MSDS.
  • Possess your own hand tools and keep them in a safe functional manner at all times.
  • Valid, clean Driver’s License
  • Ability to maintain good attitude and people skills even during high-pressure situations, be a good leader.
  • Planning, prioritizing, and organizing are key attributes.
  • Experience with appliance diagnostics and repairs a strong plus.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, any HVAC certifications a strong plus.
  • Experience running a hydro jetter for drain cleanouts a strong plus.
  • Experience working with pro press tools for copper or PEX a strong plus.

 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $36.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
