The Manager of Day Care has the overall responsibility for the Keystone day care program.  This includes setting up the day care programs, hiring qualified staff, establishing and enforcing standards and procedures, as well as monitoring financial performance of the department.  In addition, responsibilities include supporting, coaching, and training the staff while ensuring the highest quality of guest service is provided.  The Manager of Daycare must be proficient with multiple computer programs and effectively communicate with the General Manager of Ski and Ride School about the product needs, staff issues, and generate new ideas for improvement.



  • Develop guest day program curriculum; indoor projects and outdoor play.
  • Oversee all aspects of the day care operation for resort guests; including programs for infant and toddler care and preschool age children, reservations, and staff schedules
  • Oversee personnel management including:  payroll, performance appraisals, disciplinary issues, and adherence to department and company policies
  • Plan and oversee purchasing of supplies, materials and food for the Centers operations
  • Financial responsibilities: assisting in annual budget process and monthly forecasting, monitoring  financial performance of department, including  tracking revenues, and manage expenses including both labor and operating costs.
  • Maintenance of facility
  • Innovative Ideas for program enhancements
  • Regular communication with General Manager about the product's business and staff issues; weekly attendance at  management meetings is required
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Colorado childcare credential
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Group child care experience, background in guest services and business
  • 3 years of experience managing staff and operations at the supervisory level
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Fluent English
  • Must be capable and comfortable stepping into a classroom to care for children ages 2 months to 6 years including diapers


  • State of Colorado large center director qualifications
  • Self-motivator, team builder, organized and capable of meeting multiple deadlines
  • Some college
  • Some Spanish


The budgeted range starts at $48,500-$56,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
