Job Summary:

The Lodging Partner Support Manager acts as the liaison between the remote Resort Reservations Call Center Sales Teams and in-resort hotels/lodges within Eagle and Summit County, CO.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responding to calls and correspondence, troubleshooting, analyzing lodging partner needs, identifying the root of issues, and providing the necessary corrective measures, all to ensure efficiency and partner satisfaction. This is an entry level manager position with a combination of work from home and at least two days per week onsite at the resorts visiting partners.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range $52,000 - $58,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and attend regular onsite visits with all lodging partners to discuss sales/call center agent product knowledge strategy, understand local resort trends and ensure participation in resort marketing promotions to drive room nights and revenue.
  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to developing and sustaining relationships with all lodging partners, focusing on mutual success, guest service and long-term collaboration.
  • Collaborate with lodging partner and call center operations teams for timely resolution of guest concerns that are related to a stay at the lodging property.
  • Using reporting tools, provide regular business/sales updates and analysis to Senior Leadership Team and to lodging partners, enabling them to make informed decisions on rates or restrictions on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis.
  • Attend community events such as mixers, special events and town meetings in order to strengthen relationships with the property management company owners and community leaders.  
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders and community leaders to schedule and plan bi-annual Lodging Community meetings to provide Reservations and resort updates to lodging partners from each resort. 
  • Implement a comprehensive training plan, inclusive of onsite lodging property tours and property events, as well as in-person and virtual, throughout the year to ensure call center sales staff maintains destination expertise on all lodging properties.
  • Establish a solid understanding of Reservations system (Inntopia) in order to provide basic support to partners so as to ensure timely follow through on all operational and property support tasks, including extranet training, Inntopia troubleshooting, inventory/ rate loading and building/support of promotions.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with other internal support departments such as Sales Operations, Lodging Accounting and Vail Procurement in order to support lodging partner needs.
  • Collaborate with call center Operations managers regarding strategy for integration of new lodging and activity partners to maximize destination resort offerings and increase sales opportunities.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum two years of progressive account management responsibility
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Valid CO Driver’s License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with Inntopia
  • English
  • Up to 50% travel required to Vail, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge resorts
  • Strong relationship building skills, outgoing, comfortable in variety of work environments.

The expected pay range is $52,000 - $58,000.  This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
