We're looking for a kindred spirit who will be inspired to create dynamic, strategic and leadership for the Front Office operations of Kindred Resort, a new, elevated luxury property located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado.

Job Summary:

This is a supervisory position with direct reports, including the Doorman, Bellman and Valet. Responsible for hiring/staffing, scheduling, training, payroll, performance management/evaluation, and other administrative duties.  Fulfills day-to-day responsibilities with a focus on providing exceptional guest services.  Understands the department’s financials and can effectively explain variances to budget and forecasts.  Assist the hotel as needed and exhibit a high level of knowledge about the company’s goals and vision. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure alignment for guest and hotel needs.

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $56,485 - $62,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing staffing levels to align with daily business demands, ensuring adequate coverage across Front Desk, Concierge, Bell/Valet, and Night Audit operations.
  • Support daily department operations with hands-on tasks as needed, including delivering luggage, retrieving vehicles, and assisting guests directly.
  • Maintain inventory of operating supplies, uniforms, and departmental equipment, ensuring availability and proper organization.
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly, escalating to the Front Office Manager when appropriate.
  • Complete and submit incident reports for vehicle damage, loss, or other operational incidents.
  • Utilize front office software to look up and update guest vehicle information and other operational records.
  • Delegate tasks to associates and follow up to ensure completion according to service standards.
  • Provide coverage for associates during breaks, absences, or periods of short staffing, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Help manage and prioritize vehicle flow on the front drive to maintain safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of departmental procedures and policies, reinforcing brand standards and service excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager or hotel leadership.

Pre-Opening Responsibilities:

Strategic Support & Setup

  • Assist in implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Front Desk, Guest Services, Valet/Bell, and Concierge.
  • Support the selection and setup of front office software systems (PMS, POS, CRM).
  • Help ensure the front office layout is ergonomic and guest-friendly.

Staffing & Training

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding front office team members.
  • Support training programs on hospitality standards, systems, and brand values.
  • Help cross-train staff to ensure flexibility across roles.

Policy & Compliance

  • Assist in establishing cash handling, check-in/check-out, and guest privacy procedures.
  • Support compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Help maintain key control and security protocols.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hotel guest service experience, preferably in a luxury or branded property.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a front office or guest service role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), PeopleSoft, and LMS systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to employees, peers, and leadership.
  • Ability and willingness to provide constructive and candid feedback to team members and directors.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and behavior, modeling the high standards expected in a luxury resort environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

The expected pay range is $56,485 - $62,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
