Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until June 15th or until the positions are filled (whichever is first).

Job Summary:
Serve as the first line of department contact, which includes assisting on-site group leaders and guests, monitoring the department email inbox, answering phone calls, coordinating with resort operations as requested, and sending reports. This position also entails working with external clients and internal managers to plan multiple events involving food and beverage, setups, audio-visual, resort activities, restaurant reservations, and other client requests.  This position is also meant to train and prepare the Conference Services Assistant to progress into a Conference Services/Catering Manager.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide front office support/ superior guest service assistance as directed by managers.
  • Request services from various departments including Reservations, Restaurants, Activities, Banquets, Audio Visual, and Set-Ups, to fulfill and exceed guest’s expectations.
  • Create, distribute and maintain daily, change sheet, weekly, and guest event reports through FDC within departmental distribution timelines.
  • Retrieve and respond to voicemail and email frequently as well as cover for CSM’s when out of office or as requested. 
  • Maintain close partnership with Conference/ Catering managers in understanding details, processes and learning of the event planning processes to provide exemplary guest service to the meeting planner and/or group leader, both prior to arrival and once on-site.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationship with assigned Intra Resort Departments to plan “In-House” meetings.  Learn various Lines of business between Breckenridge and Keystone. Examples include lift tickets, ski school, rentals, banquet food and beverage, restaurant food and beverage, golf, and other summer and winter activity products. Up-sell to small groups as assigned. 
  • Create and distribute group resumes and banquet event orders for assigned In-House accounts, day-group catering events, social groups, and small corporate groups with lodging blocks. 
  • Learn to be proficient in Delphi FDC to create banquet event orders and resumes. Learn to be proficient in Social Tables to create event diagrams.
  • Coordinate with exhibitors for on-site needs such as electrical, AV, and shipping. Answer exhibitor questions over the phone, over email, and on-site.  
     

Skills Needed:

  • Previous guest service and administrative experience.
  • Previous resort experience a plus.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Courteous and professional telephone and guest service skills.
  • Good listening abilities.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $22.00 /hr - $26.03 /hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
