Job Summary 

Hospitality Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Assistant Manager to oversee the maintenance of one of our properties. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of the property, while supervising a team of maintenance professionals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.

  • The budgeted range starts at $56,485 - $74,518. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool/hot tubs.
  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring high performance.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate with external contractors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor expenses and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to support overall operations and guest experience.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

 

The expected pay range is $56,485 - $74,518. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
