Interested in sharing your passion for skiing with others? Working as a ski instructor at Keystone is an experience of a lifetime. Where else do you get to work outdoors, meet people from all over the world, and work with a great team (and get a season pass, to boot). Not only that, you’ll improve your own skiing with the help of our world-class training program.

SKI INSTRUCTOR

With a 3,128 ft vertical, 128 marked trails, and 3,148 skiable acres; it's easy to see why so many Ski Instructors choose to work and play here.

SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR

Be a part of the snow experience that delivers the goods. Become a Snowboard Instructor at Keystone.

SUPPORT ROLES

Do you like working behind the scenes? Come work in our Snow School department in either Outdoor or Indoor supporting roles.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES

FULL TIME:

• 4-5 days per week
• Approximately 20-40 hours
• Plus extra during peak periods

PART TIME:

• 1-2 days per week
• Approximately 7-14 hours.
• Plus extra during peak periods. Minimum 17 day commitment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrate our core values: Safety First, Striving To Be The Best, and Showing That We Care.

• Minimum 18 years of age.

• Valid work permit.

• Ability to have a whole lot of fun!!!

Join The Keystone Ski and Ride School and elevate your skills! VR’s training is the top in the world and is one of the greatest perks of being an instructor with us.

Being a member of Keystone’s Ski and Ride School opens the door to endless training opportunities. We offer over 400 training sessions during our 150 day season.  We are dedicated towards your development and devoted to helping you become the best instructor you can be.  We host a number of PISA-AASI certification events at Keystone to make sure you have easy access. You will also have access to train at any of the Vail Resorts across the country.  Our highly skilled trainers are running training sessions daily and are ready for you to join us.

Training Sessions we offer (all for FREE!):

Our Trainers: We utilize the full strength and diversity that Vail Resorts and the Education industry has to offer.  Our Resort Trainers are invested in your individual success.  Their commitment is real, your development matters and we are in this together.  We are here to support you and accelerate your success. Our training team also brings in outside consultants to make sure we are always leaders of our industry.  National Team Members, Psychologists, Kinesiologists, and Communication Specialists all play an important role in continuing to develop and refine our training program.   

Early Instructor Training: Start your day off right! Upload early morning before the public with our training staff and find a focus for your day.     

Paid Training: As a valued member of our staff, we pay you for your on the job training.  We make sure you are set up for success with the tools and knowledge you need before you start.  

Scholarship and Reimbursement Program: We believe certification is important and we know your investment is significant. That is why we want to reimburse the cost of every new certification your earn!  Staff may also apply for a scholarships to put towards to the cost of other education events offered by PSIA-AASI throughout the season. If you have a goal we will find a way to get your there.
