Job Summary:
The Team Lead Driver Trainer/Shuttle Operations Supervisor supports theOperations Management team in achieving departmental goals, ensuring the efficient daily operations. In addition, responsible for Development and execution of EME drive training programs for Epic Mountain Express at both Silverthorne and Edwards base areas. Recruiting new drivers from start of process including interviews, reference checks, compliance requirements,onboarding, and training.This role combines leadership, logistics coordination, and guest service excellence to maintain smooth operations and uphold EME’s safety, compliance, and service standards.
 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $24.69/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Management team in creating and leading the achievement of the operational goals for the department
  • Ability to successfully dispatch EME guest service vehicles, ensuring consistent, on-time delivery of EME services
  • Responsible for supervising the daily operations for EME at our Edwards location.Duties include below---
  • Provide feedback to Operations Management team to assist with the performance management of the driver group
  • Assist in recruiting process and responsible for learning and assisting with the training of all EME programs and processes as they relate to operations for all Guest Service Drivers and Dispatchers
  • Involvement in employee coaching/progressive discipline process
  • Maintain a high level of appreciation for guest satisfaction and assist in the day-to-day management of service recovery processes.
  • Assist in resolving Lost and Found,Guest Incidents and Rate My Ride survey responses
  • Help in generating positive morale and engagement amongst the Operations team and driver group by supporting EME/VR programs. Be an advocate and support the HR team when rolling out HR/Employee initiatives.
  • Responsible for the knowledge and assisting with the enforcement of EME MotorVehicle Safety programs.
  • Work with EME Fleet department to ensure the proper allocation and maintenance of EME vehicle resources.
  • Observe and adhere to all USDOT and PUC regulations as they pertain to the operation of Commercial Motor Vehicles.
  • Responsible for entering information in Risk Console for Worker’s Comp and Vehicle incidents events as they occur and assisting in any required follow-up for these events.
  • Operations Supervisor hours are inclusive of all shifts required to operate a 24-hour department, including overnight hours.
  • Recruitment and Training of new drivers

Training

  • Coordinates appropriate training resources for both areas of operation Edwards/Silverthorne
  • Conducts training, both remotely and in person, as necessary
  • Responsible for any training related documents, plans, programs and schedules as needed.
  • Assists with driver, dispatcher and reservations training as needed

Recruiting

  • Review all applicants to determine eligibility and qualifications for the Driver position
  • Interviews applicants to determine qualification and extend job offers
  • Conducts Applicant reference Checks
  • Moves applicants through the hiring process including job offer letters, compliance requirements, preboarding process, onboarding process, and other responsibilities as directed by Lead Operations Manager.
  • Must be qualified as a guest service driver
  • Other Duties as assigned
 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong background in logistics, dispatching, and operational coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vehicle departures and ensure timely execution.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with DOT compliance and commercial vehicle operations is a plus

 

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $24.69/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
