Job Summary:

Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Lift Operations and Scanning departments are no exception to this experience of a lifetime. Responsible for the safe operation of resort lifts, Lift Operations Managers are courteous and knowledgeable leaders with a passion for safety and guest experience.

Job Specifications:

• Outlet: Hunter Mountain
• Expected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $60,406 - $73,000+ annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round
• Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all Lift Operations and Scanning Operations, including staffing, training, payroll, budget management, safety audits, and documentation
• Ensure completion of daily safety checks, reporting and documentation, assisting with emergency situations and evacuations as necessary
• Review lift team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or correction action if necessary
• Maintain knowledge of and enforce all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Audit inspection and maintenance of all equipment, tools, and facilities
• Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities
• Assist with guest questions, comments and complaints ensuring timely resolutions
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a related field preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications
• Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English

The expected pay range is $60,406 - $73,000+ annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
