Job Summary:
Maintenance of snowmaking equipment and systems, while striving for quality, safety, and efficiency to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. Maintain pump, compressor, and cooling tower equipment. Support winter snowmaking team in varying degree of equipment maintenance tasks including ongoing training of snowmaking staff.
Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.26 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced
Job Responsibilities:
Adhere to all snowmaking policies, safety guidelines, and best practice procedures.
Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures.
Understand and train to safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all snowmaking equipment.
Understand and train to all standards, enterprise best practices, and safety procedures as instructed and outlined in the operational manual.
Operate, inspect, and maintain snowmaking equipment.
Advanced knowledge of trade specific hand tools.
Advanced knowledge of storm water management.
Effective communication between shifts, team leadership, and adjacent teams within the resort.
Responsible for pump and compressor maintenance.
Responsible for utility locates.
Responsible for hydrant repair and replacement.
General housekeeping of snowmaking facilities.
Inventory, stock, and order snowmaking maintenance components.
Audit and manage maintenance documentation.
Oversee all maintenance staff in the absence of Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
Assist with general snowmaking responsibilities when necessary.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent
3-5 years prior snowmaking experience required
Valid Driver’s License without restrictions is required
MS Office preferred
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Ability to ski or snowboard at a level 6 ability if necessary
Advanced understanding of snowmaking equipment maintenance and operations
The expected pay range is $21.00 - $23.26. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
