Job Summary:

Entry level Graveyard Security officer monitors and controls gates, mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas. Responds to issues and complaints. Year-Round, 30 hrs/week.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr
• Employment Type: Year Round 
• Shift Type: Full Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
• Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete 40 hours of guard card training and obtain CA guard card
• Perform patrols during assigned shifts in a manner that designated facilities are completely checked on a regular basis as detereent against any and all problems, and so that problems that do occur are recognized and dealt with promptly.
• Will enforce compnay, state, and local laws when required.
• Prepare coherent , legible and complete professional reports under existing guidelines.
• Be willing and able to work independently with a good moral compass
• provide support to other departments as requested or deamed necessary.
• Respond promptly and professionally, to guest and employee situations, events and requests, realizing these will not always fall within the scope of specific departmental responsibilities.
• Respond to emergency situations and ensure that required notifictions are made.
• Maintain proper shift logs and documentation
• checking the physical security of Heavenly assets and property
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic Microsoft applications and email
• English-read, write, and speak
• Pass Background
• Able to obtain CA Guard Card Cert.

Preferred Skills:

• Intermediate skier or rider
• CPR/First Aid

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
