Summary:

The Heavenly Childcare Manager is responsible for the full operation, leadership, and

development of Heavenly's yearround childcare programs, ensuring an exceptional experience for

employees, community members, and visiting families. This leader oversees daily operations,

licensing compliance, staff hiring and development, financial performance, and delivery of a safe,

enriching environment for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $71,042.40 - $74,658.90 / Annum
  • Employment Type: Year Round
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations of Heavenly’s licensed childcare center.
  • Ensure programs comply with state regulations and Vail Resorts policies.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, playbased learning environment.

Team Management & Development

  • Hire, mentor, schedule, and evaluate staff.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Build a cohesive team culture.

Family & Guest Experience

  • Create a welcoming environment for families.
  • Maintain communication with parents.
  • Uphold Heavenly’s reputation through excellent service.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and staffing budgets.
  • Oversee billing, enrollment, payroll, and documentation.
  • Identify and apply for grant funding.

Compliance & Community Engagement

  • Maintain relationships with licensing agencies.
  • Support Heavenly’s childcare community initiatives.


Job Qualifications:

  • Meets state requirements for Program Director.
  • 3+ years managing childcare operations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

The expected pay range is $71,042.40 - $74,658.90 / Annum. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
