Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant for the Ski & Ride School will provide administrative support to the Ski and Ride School management team and employees. This is an integral role within the Ski and Ride School and will require a high level of organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate for this position needs to understand how to take initiative and have the ability to act professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times. Strong oral and written communication skills are also required. It will be necessary to be resourceful and adaptable to a changing environment while providing exceptional customer service to guests and employees alike.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $20.74/hr - $25.40/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding and tracking pre-season tasks for new and returning employees
  • Ensure instructor profiles and preliminary schedules are accurately built and updated
  • Approves daily payroll, enters additional pay, follows up on discrepancies, and completes pay adjustments as necessary
  • Issues, tracks, and receives purchase orders and invoices and maintains department checkbooks
  • Issues and tracks Mountain Money (resort comps) under strict guidelines
  • Maintains electronic filing system (data entry, record maintenance, scanning documents, etc.)
  • Maintains a clean and safe office environment
  • Assures that Ski & Ride School departments maintain compliance in multiples areas
  • Other duties as assigned   


Job Requirements:

  • Resume and cover letter
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, and communicate clearly in English
  • Excellent communication skills via telephone, email and in person
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office and ability to become proficient multiple software systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, weekdays and holidays
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi task, and work in a shared office space
  • Ability to understand and explain policies and procedures
  • Superior internal interactions with employees and other departments

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish
  • Snow sports background and passion for the industry
  • Knowledge of Ski & Snowboard School operations

 

The expected pay range is $20.74/hr - $25.40/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
