Job Summary:

This could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Catering and Conference Services Manager, based out of Mount Snow, to join our team and make an impact at our Resorts.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Impact: Inspire and mentor the Services team, fostering growth and a culture of leadership. Drive both team and individual performance to meet and exceed revenue, competency, and development goals.
  • Cultivate Emotional Intelligence: Lead with empathy and emotional intelligence (EQ) in all interactions, demonstrating a commitment to personal and team growth.
  • Develop Talent: Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and leadership development through 1:1 meetings, helping direct reports reach their full potential.
  • Foster a Culture of Excellence: Support a high-performing, accountable team environment built on collaboration and excellence.
  • Maximize Revenue: Leverage your expertise in Food & Beverage and event coordination to boost group revenue streams, enhance upselling opportunities, and showcase our products.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Maintain and nurture professional relationships with Resort stakeholders, clients, vendors, and in-house departments to ensure seamless event execution and superior guest service.
  • Deliver Excellence: Ensure flawless execution of events, from pre-event planning to on-site coordination, handling client needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage Event Details: Oversee Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring timely completion and accurate distribution—keeping clients informed and on schedule.
  • Ensure Financial Success: Ensure groups adhere to payment schedules and contracts, from pre-arrival through post-departure, maximizing profitability.
  • Work Flexibly: Lead and support key events, including evening and weekend functions, as needed, to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Job Requirements:

  • College education preferred
  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • 2 years’ experience in managing staff at a supervisory level
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note)
  • Experience within Delphi FDC (training will be provided to the right candidate.)
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Flexibility to travel in the resort as needed (transportation is the employee's responsibility.)
  • Phone required – phone plan is available (candidate will either opt into company plan or assume responsibility for a business phone solution.)

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $55,000 - $71,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
