Job Summary:

The Ski & Ride School (SRS) Marketing Manager is responsible for driving strategy execution to achieve revenue goals of the SRS line of business across Vail Resorts! This team member will lead strategy implementation for our website to achieve unit sales, revenue, and guest targets for Ski & Ride School.

 

This position requires an analytical marketer with experience in delivering and optimizing websites to ultimately drive conversion. This person & their team will create and execute the inbound marketing plan to achieve volume, capture, engagement, and revenue targets.

 

The ideal candidate is a clear communicator that effectively collaborates with various partners and prioritizes complex workflows. They will have their hands in various types of projects and be required to deliver results on-time in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial, as well as possessing independent drive to deliver upon the growth objectives of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide thoughtful analysis of channel tactic effectiveness in achieving guest engagement, purchase conversion and other business objectives through data-informed results.
  • Manage & execute key projects such as our product launch cycle & digital enhancements
  • Recommend and execute optimizations in digital tactics based on results and analytical insights, to improve guest key performance indicators.
  • Build relationships with key analytics, digital experience, and agency partners, sponsors, vendors, operational partners to ensure accurate execution of team strategies & tactics
  • Support inbound marketing content creation, go-to-market, working to optimize our digital presence and reduce guest friction to purchase
  • Use insights, conduct research, and gain findings to inform segmentation strategies to drive growth, keeping the guest experience top of mind.
  • Effectively communicate results and strategies to leadership, as well as document process and details for execution.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years marketing experience (preferably in an area delivering results for a product, Line of Business, and/or e-commerce)
  • Ability to manage multiple tracks of complex work and cross-functional projects
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with changing business needs and deadlines
  • Exercises thought leadership in planning and anticipates business needs
  • Effectively communicates with all levels and types of team members

Confident, collaborative person who is able to function optimally in a matrixed environment. Pursues work with energy and drive. Adept at assessing and utilizing business data to identify needs and capitalize on opportunities. Has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization. Works well independently and as a team member, takes initiative and has the desire to achieve. Possesses good judgment, and is conscientious and dependable. Some travel may be required to different resort locations.

 

The budgeted range starts at $74,100 - $96,465 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
