Job Summary:

We’re searching for a senior test automation engineer (SDET) to join the Resort Application Development Team.  Our team is responsible for the development of a suite of custom desktop applications, modern web apps, and internal APIs that provide ski resort management and point-of-sale functionality.


We primarily use C# and the .NET Framework. Our web apps are written in Angular, our desktop apps utilize WPF, and we use SQL Server as our database platform.  Our internal API is a RESTful WebAPI service layer.

  • Have experience building and maintaining continuous integration with test automation frameworks
  • Have experience writing, executing, and reporting on automated tests in a .NET environment

  • Take ownership of test automation solution designs and architectural decisions
  • Can troubleshoot, determine root cause, and take ownership for resolving test automation code issues

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create repeatable and accurate automated test scripts across the application portfolio
  • Use software design principles to create maintainable and solid tests
  • Integrate test automation with and maintain continuous integration and delivery across the test environments
  • Leverage test automation to identify software issues, working across the team to determine resolution 
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding for applications functionality and offer suggestions for how best to deliver quality assurance solutions
  • Present proposed next areas of test automation based on value add to the Development Leadership Team for prioritization
  • Scope and estimate test automation work for planning and execution, reporting against progress
  • Work across the team (business analysts, developers, quality assurance, and product owners) to increase the test automation footprint and value.
  • Champion test automation methodologies and technologies
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and simplify the test automation framework


Job Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5 years minimum application development experience in C#
  • 3 years minimum test automation experience
  • 2 years minimum writing and executing .NET tech stack automation cases
  • 2 years minimum experience building and maintaining CI/CD with test automation frameworks
  • 2 years minimum development experience with RESTful APIs
  • Ability to create clear and concise test strategies and plans determining the appropriate balance of test automation (and type of test - UI, API, unit test) versus manual tests
  • Experience scoping, estimating, and tracking test automation work
  • 2 years minimum experience working with SQL Server
  • 2 years minimum development experience working within the Agile with Scrum software development framework
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills



  • Using Git for source control
  • The Atlassian product suite: Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket
  • Point of Sale/Transaction processing experience
  • Ski resort or hospitality field
  • Performance test


The expected pay range is $89,100 - $121,305 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
