Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Ski & Ride School Marketing is responsible for driving forward the Vail Resorts Ski & Ride School product marketing strategy across our top 16 Destination resorts with critical thinking, outstanding cross-functional partnership, executional excellence, and a high bias for action. This role is accountable for revenue and unit goals for Vail Resorts’ largest Ancillary line of business and a strategic growth area in the company portfolio.

 

The ideal candidate will bring compelling experience in product marketing, digital strategy, and ecommerce, and be able to demonstrate analytical thinking, strong project management, business acumen, and both team and cross-functional leadership. Being able to work with agility, optimism and prioritization in a fast-paced business environment is critical to the success of this role.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $89,100.00 - $121,305.00 + annual bonus
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing strategies and tactics for Vail Resorts Ski & Ride School – including strategy development and implementation, managing technical and operational stakeholders, establishing goals, and effectively translating long-term business/company vision and objectives into shorter-term (1-year) impactful planning, with a specific focus on capturing guests and growing revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key cross-functional business leaders, agency partners, sponsors, vendors, operational contributors, and financial counterparts to support planning and budgeting initiatives.
  • Lead teams responsible for managing inbound marketing content creation, go-to-market, working to optimize our digital presence and reduce guest friction to purchase
  • Provide thoughtful analysis of marketing effectiveness in achieving marketing objectives and business-driving efforts through data-informed results and optimization.
  • Use insights, conduct research, and gain findings to inform segmentation strategies to drive growth, keeping the guest experience top of mind.
  • Effectively communicate results and strategies to leadership, as well as document process and details for execution.
  • Effectively project manage and direct teams, with the ability to prioritize the most material and business-critical projects.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years marketing experience, preferably in an area delivering results for a product or Line of Business; experience working in a multi-location and matrixed environment a plus
  • 3+ years direct supervisory experience
  • Understanding of digital metrics, UX design, and digital best practices a plus

Possesses good judgment, and is conscientious and dependable. Some travel may be required to different resort locations.

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,100.00 - $121,305.00 + annual bonus.  Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
