Job Summary

The Hospitality IT Senior Compliance Analyst oversees all of the compliance related tasks and functions for the Hospitality IT portfolio for SOX, PCI and Data Privacy. They also own the application architecture across the portfolio ensuring that all documentation is up to date, a maintenance plan exists, and manage compliance change requirements for enhancements, changes, and releases to the platforms. They are responsible for ensuring compliance obligations are met in support of all our applications that include, but are not limited to: Inntopia, IQware, Jonas, Hudson, Salesforce, Amadeus, ALICE and SpaSoft. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team in maintaining and streamlining compliance initiatives across many platforms. 

 

This individual works closely with the IT and business stakeholders to manage ongoing compliance requests and oversight, and partners directly with InfoSec/SecOps to ensure compliance requirements are met in all areas. Other duties include participation in quality assurance and user acceptance requirement standardization, reviewing and approving production changes, in addition to providing working knowledge and coordination for access security and compliance responsibilities for all project and support work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work follows the SDLC process, meets SOX and PCI requirements, and maintain all required supporting documentation while ensuring all risk and compliance obligations are met 
  • Own the process documentation for all compliance related activities.
  • Perform and own all quarterly and annual audits, and lead all walk throughs with external auditors.
  • Conduct process reviews with Production Management ensuring all user management and change management meets compliance standards.
  • Conduct process reviews with Hospitality IT Project teams ensuring all releases and changes meet compliance standards.
  • Represent Hospitality IT on the Data Privacy Committee
  • Maintain InfoSec, SecOps and vendor relationships for managing and escalating requests
  • Coach analysts as required.
  • Maintain a working understanding of all applications through assisting in queue management tasks for all applications to understand the complex access and support architecture as it relates to compliance components and system and architecture knowledge.
  • Create a centralized repository of all system architecture and controls and maintain documents following all changes and updates.
  • Ensure necessary monitoring, scanning, and reviews are in place for change management processes in alignment with PCI and SOX requirements
  • Work with Hospitality IT leadership to create a roadmap for compliance related tasks
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills needed at all levels.
  • Proven track record using analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Requirements  

  • Strong leadership background to effectively lead, optimize, and maintain compliance initiatives at an enterprise level
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and function as a self-starter requiring little direction; We are looking for someone who shows the potential to do more and is a natural leader
  • Ability to communicate with various levels (including Director and VP) within IT and the Business
  • Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated customer-focused, service-first attitude.
  • Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects/audits simultaneously with ability to maintain organization and high-level communication throughout

 

Preferred

 

  • IT Degree or equivalent job related experience
  • Experience with SOX, PCI and Data Privacy.
  • Working knowledge of Vail Resorts organization and processes
  • Prior experience with Inntopia, IQware, LMS, Jonas, Hudson, Salesforce, Amadeus, ALICE and/or SpaSoft or similar hospitality software application experience
  • Experience working with JIRA, Smartsheets, ITConnect (Ivanti), OneTrust, ZenGRC

 

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,000 - $103,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
