Job Summary:
As a part of the Enterprise Data Engineering & Enablement team, this role will be on the front edge of the new era of data enablement across the enterprise. The Quality Assurance Analyst role will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. This role initiates tests, analyzes results, troubleshoots systems and collaborates with teams to find solutions to technical problems. The QA Analyst will work collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements. You will be working on different initiatives with internal and external customers. This role will also cross train with other inter departmental tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
- Define and execute test cases for web applications based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Develops business functional and technical test plans on moderately complex application implementation and development.
- Executes the testing of technology systems ensuring quality and efficient systems performance
- Experience in testing websites across multiple browsers, testing web-services, back-end processing and data validation utilizing SQL and API Tools
- Demonstrated experience with industry standard Quality Assurance best practices for Agile and Iterative SDLCs, testing methodologies, version control systems, implementation, and deployment activities.
- Experience in: system testing, data warehouse migration testing, data integrity testing and data transformation related testing.
- Creates and executes various testing documentation (including plans, conditions, and scripts) based on technical and user requirements.
- Provides feedback of testing results to development teams ensuring fixes or enhancements are incorporated prior to scheduled releases.
- Ensures all applications adhere to high quality standards.
- Assist in the execution of integration or end-to-end testing with client systems or programs.
- Research best practices to determine quality improvement initiatives and utilization standards.
- Carries out complex tasks of large projects.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results
- Analyze testing from the client's perspective
- Improve the maturity of the regression scripting and execution process
- Works with an open and collaborative style
- Participate in application planning meetings
- Work in an Agile development team
- Ability to work afterhours as needed
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience required
- Experience developing and creating test cases, test plans and test scripts required
- Experience writing and reading SQL
- Experience with functional, regression, ad-hoc and extensive software testing
- Experience with Ecommerce is required
- Experience testing Responsive websites is required
- Must have the ability to create and maintain test plans and test results
- Self-starter and active learner
- Must have excellent problem solving skills
- Must be very detail oriented
- Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with various testing tools including automation tools is a plus
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
