Job Summary:

The Manager of Residential Experience is accountable for the Housing Residential Experience strategy throughout the housing enterprise portfolio driven by a wellness philosophy focused on programming, health & safety, DE&I, communications, trainings & development initiatives.  The Housing Residential Experience is a key driver of the Employee Housing strategy and vision to provide an Experience of a Lifetime – which includes creating a safe, inclusive, vibrant and affordable housing environment for our employees living in the Employee Housing portfolio.   This individual will influence, lead and partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders, employees, vendors and community resources.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and drive the Residential Experience strategy focused on effective communications, health & safety, inclusive communities, crisis response, conflict resolution, assessments, housing accommodations and policy/legal compliance
  • Lead a high performing Residential Experience Team focused on value creation, resident engagement a, delivering results, and supporting long-term organizational goals aligned to wellness and employee engagement and development.
  • Responsible for the project management of Housing departmental initiatives through process creation, data collection, trend identification and reporting: such as programming KPIs, budget tracking, system processes and policy compliance
  • Design and implement the Employee Housing Residential Programming Model based upon data-driven best practices to enhance community engagement and education aligned with enterprise-wide wellness values and strategy
  • Responsible for the onboarding, training and development framework and implementation for Housing department team members
  • Serve as Crisis Response Administrator (remotely) for escalated housing situations ensuring complete case management, such as: process administration, case consultations, including coaching for housing wellness team members on Housing Wellness team through action items up to case closure and resolution
  • Manage complex internal relationships and ensure clear communications with stakeholders including Vail Resorts Wellness team, Legal Teams, Employee Relations, Resort Leaders, Local Regional Housing teams, VR Leadership, HRBPs and other HR partners

 

Job Requirements:

  • University/College Degree Required; master's degree in a Behavioral Health field or Higher Education Administration preferred
  • 3+ years’ housing experience, including Crisis Response/Management and Residential Programming
  • Experience with Project Management; PMP preferred
  • Experience with training facilitation and curriculum development of programs
  • HR Experience preferred – including Employee Relations, Accommodations, Policy Compliance, Health & Safety
  • 3+ years’ experience of directly managing employees at a supervisory level
  • Experience working with remote teams preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient working in databases
  • English strong written and verbal mandatory  
  • Proven capability in data management and/or data analysis
  • Experience/Background in Wellness & Mental Health
  • Ability to align key stakeholders around a vision and to make timely recommendations based on insight, data, and influence
  • Experience with StarRez Housing preferred

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 + annual bonus.  Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
