Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our exciting and growing Strategic Projects Team. This position is intended to support ongoing projects of varying complexity within our Information Technology and Security functions. This role is designed for those with drive, who are highly organized, thrive in ambiguity, and are comfortable communicating with Stakeholders and Executives alike. A successful candidate will be naturally curious with a high degree of learning agility, capable of developing an understanding of systems and stakeholders across multiple functions to successfully manage and oversee enterprise-wide information security projects.

  • The expected range is $82,800 - $106,425 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day project management activities in an agile/waterfall environment including: project initiation, planning, budgeting, resource planning, scheduling, scope management, dependency management, risk management and ongoing communication.
  • Manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specification and budget
  • Partner with other cross-functional teams to plan for and execute on the delivery of complex projects
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure project objectives, success criteria, scope, and requirements, are defined and delivered upon.
  • Own, create, and deliver project-related communications and escalation to IT Executives, Stakeholders, and Team Members including executive readouts/updates, weekly status reports, risk/action/issue/decision tracking, alignment, and logging.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with all internal teams and 3rd party vendors.
  • Proactively engage with business partners to understand business challenges and opportunities.
  • Responsible for capital project and operation expense budget management – recording, tracking, reporting, and communicating.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management for critical, cross-functional technical projects / programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree or additional relevant experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple priorities and adapt in ambiguous situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Project Management tools such as Confluence, Jira, & Smartsheet
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and communication
  • Experience managing vendors
  • Experience owning and managing multiple Capital budgets
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
  • Knowledge of best practices and industry standards with prior responsibilities of protecting information assets
  • Familiarity with compliance and privacy requirements such as PCI, SOX, CCPA, GDPR, etc.
  • Ability to understand the process involved to adapt, integrate, and modify existing systems or vendor-supplied products for use with a large and complex technical environment.

 

Preferred:

  • Certified Project Management Professional
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Fundamental understanding of Risk Management frameworks including the NIST 800-37, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 set of publications
  • Professional security certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CSPM, etc.

 

The expected range is $82,800 - $106,425 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
