Job Summary:

The Director of Infrastructure, Enterprise Services will be responsible for providing vision, leadership, strategy and team development for Enterprise Infrastructure Application Infrastructure and Platform Services teams. This role is responsible for executing the vision of how the team delivers IT services to the organization, shaping operational infrastructure strategy, architecture and change processes that align a diverse stakeholder group.  Superior leadership qualities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with experience driving change within an organization are essential. This position reports to the Sr Director of Infrastructure and is a member of the IT Infrastructure Leadership team partnering with peer IT leaders across InfoSec and Application Development to design and execute the company’s strategic roadmap.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range $129,900 - $166,950 + annual bonus + equity

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic direction on all aspects of IT infrastructure for enterprise collaboration services and hybrid data center model including architecture, service delivery standards and processes for the enterprise
  • Develop goals and standards for IT Service Delivery in cooperation with other IT departments and key stakeholders
  • Work with business units and application teams to understand service requirements and expectations
  • Focus on IT process improvement, with a pursuit of automating process, employee self-service and pro-active communication to a diverse stakeholder group
  • Analyzes and predicts trends and develops long-range plans designed to maintain cost effectiveness and stability of the enterprise’s IT infrastructure
  • Establish and support change management process in conjunction with application and infrastructure teams
  • Develop capacity-planning tools and processes
  • Portfolio management oversight of the group’s initiatives ensuring projects are completed to budget, timelines, quality standards; communicate risks and progress to business stakeholders.
  • Departmental Budget management and oversight
  • Stakeholder Management across LOB’s, IT Teams, and vendors
  • Develop and gain buy-in with key stakeholders on multi-year roadmaps
  • Proactively manage all Information Security, Compliance and Data Privacy obligations

 

 Drive: Develop and drive the ownership and accountability across the Infrastructure team in support of business objectives and supporting IT initiatives with a Business Leaders First mindset.

  • Able to facilitate multi-disciplinary strategic discussions with senior business and technology leaders combined with strong, clear and concise communications skills
  • Provide leadership and alignment across the Infrastructure, Security, Application teams and LOBs (Lines of Business) to ensure successful execution of roadmaps that aligns with our Business Strategy.
  • Provide project/program facilitation and oversight; facilitate agreement on objectives and success measures, provide overall project/program issue resolution and roadblock removal.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a related field or an equivalent in education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Security with 5+ years of management experience
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Hosted data center strategies, such as deployment automation, subscription management, security, and role-based access control
  • Deep understanding of On-Prem data center technologies, such as VMWare, F5s, Storage Area Networks, Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco networking gear
  • Experience running production infrastructure environments, enterprise collaboration services and end user support at an enterprise level
  • Proven ability to collaboratively plan, document, and present security strategies, achieve buy-in from IT leadership and manage the implementation and ongoing support.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels (including executives) within IT and the Business
  • Consistently demonstrated growth in their own skills & leadership.
  • Understanding of Modern IT Service Delivery tools and strategies (Configuration Management, Identity and Access Management, Asset Management, Incident/Problem/Change Management, Self Service)
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of key concepts in Cloud Management Service, DevSecOps, IT Service Delivery, ITIL, and SDLC
  • Experience delivering infrastructure regulatory compliance (PCI, SOX, Data Privacy)

 

Leadership:

  • Ability to drive strategy, vision, direction, and prioritization on enterprise-wide projects and programs
  • Can manage initiatives from concept through to completion, including the development and presentation of a business case.

 

Project Management:

  • Ability to socialize and manage a portfolio of projects in support of stated strategic objectives.
  • Manage operational business impacts as well as technical components of the program or project.
  • Provide vision and leadership regarding organizational design and resourcing of large, complex enterprise-wide initiatives including all aspects of management from vision through execution.

 

Financials:

  • Manage enterprise-wide programs with complex financial models including internal and external stakeholders and complex contract negotiation.
  • Participate in the annual expense and capital budgeting processes & cycles for their areas.

 

Employee Management:

  • Ability to manage/oversee internal and contract resources.
  • Ability to produce talent on their team and across the organization

 

Vendor Management:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to external vendors.
  • Ability to work through vendor contract management issues.

 

The expected pay range is $129,900 - $166,950 + annual bonus + equity.  This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
