Summary of Job:

The Employment Marketing Sr. Specialist is responsible for driving the Employment Marketing plan to achieve application targets across Vail Resorts and drive Employee retention.

Focusing on content creation, omni-channel planning and execution, and cross-functional optimizations; they will actively monitor and be able to identify key drivers of performance, support annual planning, manage relationships with key business partners/vendors, and deliver marketing insights based on Analytics reporting.

 

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, a strong communicator, effectively collaborates with various partners, and able to prioritize workflows. They will have their hands in various types of projects and be required to deliver results on time in a very fast-paced environment. Flexibility, curiosity, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to be employee-centric are crucial.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing strategies and tactics that inspire prospective candidates to apply – including omni-channel execution, creative development & review, and data-driven optimizations
  • Demonstrate quantitative and analytical thinking, while also able to tell emotionally compelling stories 
  • Effectively communicate performance metrics and impacts with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate success working with external vendors and internal cross-functional leaders at all levels
  • Leverage data and provide actionable insights to drive effective marketing campaigns and optimizations that deliver clearly definable results 
  • Manage the Marketing budget; demonstrating strong budget acumen
  • Effectively project manage multiple tracks of work, prioritizing the most material business-critical projects
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Own channel analytics ongoing strategy & execution to identify source data 
  • Own go-to-market execution across paid and owned channels, in collaboration with TA, IT, Comms & Marketing partners
  • Own job feed management with external vendors

 

Job Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience; emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing work experience; omni-channel experience preferred
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google and/or Adobe Analytics experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of organization, attention to details and level of professional conduct
  • Confident, collaborative leader who can function optimally in a matrixed environment by leading through influence; works independently, takes the initiative and has the desire to achieve

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $56,485 - $69,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
