Job Summary:

The Employee Housing Systems Manager is accountable for the housing portfolio by working in alignment with the Senior Manager of Employee Housing to help identify and execute the team strategy and vision to meet both current and future business needs. They will be responsible for process management, housing database administration, and strategic planning initiatives in service of creating an Experience of a Lifetime for all employees living in Employee Housing. They will ensure functionality, integrity, and evolution of housing software systems and processes, act as a liaison with the Business and local resorts to build training and processes, and deliver on business needs.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and execute on the Employee Housing strategy driving the Company’s short- and long-term business needs, to include data management, reporting, assessment, and assistance in furthering strategic planning efforts for Employee Housing
  • Manage and deliver standardized, best-practices, across the enterprise by implementing, maintaining, and supporting centralized housing software systems, including the StarRez Housing Database and Employee Housing technology programs
  • Support the creation, development, and implementation of new housing initiatives and processes by providing project coordinator support and leveraging the use of software systems to support this goal
  • Serve as the primary database administrator for the StarRez Housing Database system and provide support to Housing Teams through auditing, reporting, and problem solving for local Housing Teams and other internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for the financial systems and processes for Employee Housing portfolio, including – but not limited to – revenue management, system reversals, bad debt processes, deposit accounting within database with system support, tracking, auditing and reconciliations as needed
  • Responsible for the tracking, spending, and reconciliation of the Employee Housing Central Administration Budget, including capital planning and execution
  • Provide direct supervision, training, and development to one direct report employee (Senior Specialist- Employee Housing)
  • Direct the onboarding of new employee housing locations per resorts including – but not limited to – discovery, system implementation, training, and stakeholder alignment
  • Drive value for the organization to improve the manager experience related to Employee Housing, as well as the residential experience via the Employee Value Proposition

 

Job Requirements:

Required:

  • University/College Degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in database management, software system maintenance, software development/implementation, or software training
  • 2+ years’ experience in data management and/or data analysis
  • At least 1 year experience in project management, project coordinator, or in supporting large-scale project development and implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in presentation, facilitation, and training of both large and small groups of employees, ranging from entry level employees to senior level administrators
  • 1+ year experience of directly managing employees at a supervisory level
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in managing Room Management Software
  • English strong written and verbal mandatory
  • Ability to align key stakeholders around a vision and to make timely recommendations based on insight, data, and influence.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Spanish & French preferable
  • 2+ years’ experience in property management, housing, or similar experience
  • Experience with StarRez Housing strongly preferred
  • Experience in SQL preferred

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $74,100 - $96,465 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
