The Workforce Management Director will lead our strategy and Workforce Management COE to transform our approach to utilization of our global 45,000+ employee workforce, creating multi-million dollar structural labor efficiencies while at the same time elevating both our employee and guest experience. 

In your first year as the COE leader, you will deliver a proof-of-concept schedule optimization ecosystem (people, process, technology) at two of our largest resorts and establish process, capability and culture across our North American 34 resort network to achieve labor cost optimization goals this coming winter season.

Once successful, you will lead the expansion of our workforce management platform and ecosystem to deliver the full business and financial value of workforce optimization across all 37 resorts and grow our future-focused Workforce Planning capabilities accordingly.

Responsibilities:

The Workforce Management COE Director will:

  • Develop and execute our seasonal workforce management strategy, process, and systems
  • Build and lead a team of data-driven, highly influential workforce management subject matter experts that own and optimize our workforce management ecosystem
  • Build a culture of resource efficiency and labor cost optimization; directly influencing business leaders
  • Build a long-term continuous improvement portfolio of labor optimization opportunities
  • Leverage data-driven insights to drive opportunities for labor management

 

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of workforce management or analytics, operations leadership, supply chain management, business intelligence, and/or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other related field.
  • Demonstrated applied expertise and results in process design, optimization and continuous improvement [GB1] [SM2] 
  • Project management/change management experience
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and leadership influence/impact
  • Experience leading and delivering results at scale in a large, geographically dispersed, multi-site, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to translate business and operational goals into actionable data analysis and insights to drive workforce related business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex analytics insights to non-technical audiences, including senior executive leadership
  • Demonstrated experience with analytics software
 

The budgeted range starts at $125,000 - $156,900 + annual bonus + equity.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
