Job Summary 

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead experienced recruiting for our Hospitality & Retail businesses while developing a high-performing, collaborative team focused on sourcing, engaging, and hiring talent essential to our company’s success. The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop a strong acumen and understanding of our business and bring an interpersonal savvy that allows them to develop lasting relationships with candidates, hiring managers and their direct reports. The ideal candidate is organized and agile while understanding the importance of the recruitment function to the success of the business. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Build an understanding of enterprise and functional talent strategies to develop/align recruiting strategies, talent pipelines, and delivery of hiring outcomes 

  • Bring a data-driven understanding of the talent market to build and deliver out front, innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies that continuously improve how we deliver impact  

  • Serve as a player-coach owning senior level reqs and leading a team of recruiters to develop talent pipelines and execute against sourcing, interviewing, and hiring KPIs  

  • Lead the full life-cycle recruiting process for Hospitality & Retail and engage as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on key decisions through the recruiting process, including job posting, sourcing, assessment, and hiring process best practices 

  • Foster candidates’ connection to our company brand and values – focusing not only on open roles but also on relationships to build our talent pipeline while ensuring each person has an optimal experience with Vail Resorts 

  • Serve as a key partner to TA Strategy & Programs on talent priorities 

  

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 4+ years recruiting experience  

  • 1+ years of leadership experience 

  • Demonstrated learning agility and an affinity for dynamic, changing environments 

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to engage with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders 

  • Hospitality and/or retail recruiting experience preferred 

 

The budgeted range starts at $73,000 - $113,000 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
