This Strategic Alliance department is seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented, self-motivated, and creative specialist to join their team in support of building world class partnerships. At Vail Resorts, we aim to engage in partnerships that enhance and reimagine the guest experience across our 37 global mountain resorts by elevating our collective resort and partner brands. The Specialist will work closely to support the ongoing management and development of the company’s strategic partners.

 

Specific duties and responsibilities include: implementation of strategic partner marketing efforts, management of partner hospitality credit balances, planning group hospitality efforts in-resort, management of partnership budgets and general administrative duties.

  • Well-developed customer service skills with ability to turn around timely responses
  • Budget management and reconciliation experience
  • The confidence and self-sufficiency to identify and pursue multiple solutions to a range of challenges

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as internal Strategic Alliance liaison to various departments at Vail Resorts, including Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Operations, Accounting, Retail, Content, Procurement and Marketing.
  • Providing a high level of customer service directly to strategic partner representatives, vendors, key internal stakeholders and other affiliates
  • Manage and lead various internal process and systems for the department, including:
    • Marketing Deliverable Fulfillment: trail map inclusions, website recognition, social reporting, etc.
    • Hospitality Credit Management: processing, tracking and product fulfillment
    • Financial Reporting: support forecasting and budgeting efforts, manage monthly reconciliation
  • Gather and curate vital information for partner ROI reporting, including pictures, analytics, sales reporting, while holding team members accountable for fulfillment and compliance.
  • Organize and lead planning efforts for the annual Strategic Alliance Partner Summit
  • Ensure appropriate prioritization of business changes and communicate effectively across key stakeholders.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Marketing or similar field
  • Account Management, Hospitality, and Business and Relationship Development experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
  • Experience in admin and budget management
  • Excellent English language and writing skills- Required
  • Experience with Photoshop and In Design- Preferred
  • Experience with social reporting software like Sprout Social- Preferred

 

The budgeted salary range starts at $18 - $24 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
