Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for centrally managing all Partnership Marketing budgets, invoicing, PO generation and receivables, along with Hospitality Credit fulfillment and other various systems and processes. This position is part of Strategic Alliance team within Brand Marketing. The Specialist will provide support to the team.

 

Responsibilities include providing oversight and management of all Partnership Marketing budgets, driving the appropriate level of accountability across teams for PO generation and receiving, reconciling efforts and financial performance on a monthly basis and process compliance within the respective stakeholder organizations.  The position requires proficiency in managing budgets to a high degree of accuracy, interfacing between multiple departments within Marketing, Finance and Procurement, and process management / improvement.

 

The Specialist must be incredibly organized, demonstrate the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and with leadership, and be able organize multiple workflow streams.  Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial as this role will be part of a fast paced and dynamic work environment. The Specialist should be highly proficient with Microsoft Office products with a minimum of 2-4 years of Microsoft Excel experience in complex spreadsheets. The Specialist should have good presentation and meeting facilitation skills.

 

This position provides entry level exposure to partnership marketing through support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financials (actuals/budgets/forecasts) while working closely with Vail Resorts finance and procurement departments.
  • Facilitate regular communication and reporting with Marketing and Finance leadership teams.
  • Ensure appropriate prioritization of business changes and communicate effectively.
  • Schedule and lead weekly & monthly budget/forecast meetings with teams.
  • Manage the purchase order process from start to finish for all responsible budgets and ensure correct process for accounting procedures (Prepay, Check Requests, vouchers, etc.)
  • Manage various other internal processes and systems for the division and hold team members accountable for compliance.
  • Manage the processing, tracking and fulfillment of Hospitality Credit banks in fulfillment of Partnerships.
  • Social Media tracking and reporting in coordination with resort-based Communications Team Members
  • Additional Process/Program Management support activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in admin, accounting, or finance preferred.
  • Excellent English language and writing skills.
  • Excellent custom service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple timelines and deliverables.
  • Excellent accounting skills.
  • High degree of organization, attention to details and level of professional conduct. Self-starter, ambitious and multi-tasker.
  • High degree of experience with Microsoft Word & Excel
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $22.00 - $28.05. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
