As a member of the Homeowner Association Accounting team, you will manage accurate financial reporting for Homeowner Associations managed by Vail Resorts, respond promptly and accurately to stakeholder questions, and coordinate with property managers to make sure accounts are accurate and appropriate procedures are followed.


General Description:

  • Work with Association Staff to enter and maintain budgets for over 100 associations
  • Close the Books champion performing complex balance sheet reconciliations and Creation, Review and Posting of Manual Journal Entries maintaining a SOX control environment
  • Support Billing processes for Property Management, Homeowners, and General Corporate business channels
  • Support stakeholders with financial analysis which may include Income Statements, Budgets, Balance Sheets and Statements of Cash Flows
  • Assist with reconciliation of Bank Statements, Cash Asset and Cash Clearing accounts
  • Provide an Experience of a Lifetime to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Be an Everyday Leader in the Values based culture of Vail Resorts
  • Take an active role in Leadership Essentials and Leadership Ascent programs



  • Accounting degree with 2+ years in a technical accounting position
  • 2+ years’ experience in a complex high transactional multi-system accounting role
  • Demonstrated experience in Process Improvement and Change Management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel
  • Ability to convey GAAP accounting concepts to stakeholders
  • Self-starter with exceptional time management and prioritization skills

The budgeted range starts at 17.00-22.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
