Job Summary:

The VRR Fleet Specialist provides excellent operational support overseeing the day-to-day activities and needs of the vehicle fleet department. This position supports the following program areas: vehicle fuel, repair and maintenance, title and registration, readiness compliance, vehicle transfers and assignments, company car program and rental vehicles. Position works closely with field managers, external suppliers and internal stakeholders to support the needs of 90 vehicle fleet, dispersed across 25 locations in seven states.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate fleet vehicle data utilizing 3rd party fleet management systems. Enter/ update information as required and submit change requests to update information to reflect current state. Track all updates to completion and report to stakeholders as required.
  • Support driver qualification and vehicles readiness compliance. Reviews and grades all Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requests, update compliance tracker, conduct periodic compliance reviews and report out compliance gaps to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance including approvals, PM compliance alerts and OEM recalls. Research maintenance delays and work closely with fleet management partners and field team to ensure timely service at all locations.
  • Review fuel program usage; issues fuel pins and tracks fuel cost. Monitor service card compliance and escalate issues to resolution
  • Support title and registration updates including tracking and shipping documentation to stakeholders.
  • Process fleet invoices in accordance with established procedures and cadence. Analyzes vehicle expenses and reports budget concerns/ trends as required.
  • Support vehicle replacement plan by ordering vehicles, tracking costs/ delivery and overseeing aftermarket requirements including shelving, graphics and upgrades in alignment with buy plan/ budget. Coordinate vehicle remarketing process including pick up, reporting and reallocation of vehicle proceeds.
  • Support company car program including tracking vehicle mileage and expenses for year-end reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years’ fleet operations experience
  • Standard, Operator Class Driver’s License
  • Microsoft office with emphasis on Outlook and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills managing multiple tasks through to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including experience working with stakeholders at different levels within an organization.
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanics and commercial vehicle regulations.
  • Safe Driving History - No more than three state-assigned violation “points” assigned to Motor Vehicle Record

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $22.00/hr - $26.03/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
