The Sr. Specialist, Digital Site Content Producer is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is driving our content updates across our many resort websites. This is an ideal fit for someone who is passionate about delivering an exceptional online customer experience.

 

The Digital Content Sr. Specialist will be responsible for partnering with our resort teams to ensure our website content is up to date across our resort portfolio. Key accountabilities will include driving the content update process, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged at the right points, compiling performance data and producing regular reports, and driving the execution of the SEO strategic plan. There is an additional opportunity to gain exposure and support our organic social approach in partnership with our resort brands as well.

 

We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual who is eager to grow in the digital marketing field. The ideal team member will excel in this role by keeping our partners actively engaged with quality content and support, as well as contributing internally to the growth of our overall content strategy through new and existing initiatives.

 

The ideal fit will have the right mix of inquisitiveness and technical aptitude who is interested and excited to drive Vail Resort’s content personalization across multiple channels, brands and audiences. The job will require exceptional leadership skills, agility and a strategic approach to finding solutions that drive the business. Critical to its success will be someone who can partner with internal stakeholders, external partners, and a variety of cross-functional teams.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Drive in the execution of digital experience strategies related to serving our portfolio of brands, particularly in supporting key site design, content curation, compiling performance data, managing trends, and building promotional content and calendars.
  • Drive, plan and coordinate branded content updates and site enhancement efforts, ensuring message and content reaches key target audiences
  • Optimize storytelling and site presentation, bringing the brands and products to life with a guest-centric approach
  • Contribute to ongoing conversations on how to expand our content strategy
  • Drive website personalization to enable compelling, tailored digital experiences for our guests
  • Add new products or content including product descriptions, photography, and SEO tags
  • Develop engaging and SEO-friendly copy
  • Manage the digital content update process using Agile methodology and help stakeholders understand how to utilize the system
  • Compile performance data for earned channels and build reports that enable the analysis of digital content and SEO performance
  • Develop the best practice recommendations for digital content and socialize optimization recommendations for each phase of the GTM plan
  • Partner closely with stakeholders from product and channel teams for messaging requirements and delivery of content
  • Lead partner teams on adjusted timelines and resources for optimizations and changes in strategy
  • Work closely with our web development team in reporting bugs, testing new functionalityand developing new web features as well as maintaining all aspects of web usability, content, and design
  • Stretch to support organic social reporting, publishing and executing as needed.
  • Record and evolve SOP to ensure the most efficient training for GTM flights

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelors’ degree and 4+ years’ experience in related field (Marketing, Communications) 
  • Experience with complex GTM processes a plus
  • Knowledge of SiteCore, CMS software, E-commerce websites and HTML a plus
  • Knowledge of best practices for web creative a plus
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Ability to develop and deliver key presentations to upper management
  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented, with experience creating order from disorder
  • Enjoys solving problems and finding process efficiencies in an innovative, creative and dynamic environment
  • An agile leader and strong communicator, they will drive change with enthusiasm, thoughtfulness and a commitment to personal and team development
  • Ability to analyze performance data and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional project management, partnering and collaboration skills

 

The budgeted range starts at $56,300-$67,600.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
