Job Summary: 

The Sr. Specialist, Dynamic Creative Optimization is responsible for setting up, delivering and improving our dynamic creatives in a way which enables us to very quickly iterate between different creative versions but also deliver the correct messaging strategy.  In this role, you will combine your current knowledge of media operations and dynamic creative best practices to support the continued evolution of dynamic creative optimization within a data-driven environment.  You will provide strategic approaches to dynamic creative production, feeds, specs, delivery and optimization with a focus on creative advertising technology. This position plays a central role with various key stakeholders in media campaign execution, quality assurance and results reporting.

 

The Sr. Specialist, Dynamic Creative Optimization will report to the Manager, Media Operations within the Paid Media team and will work closely with the Media Strategy & Production Teams.  The ideal candidate will have a demonstrate passion about the combination of creative and tech. This role will be responsible for the successful launch of digital advertising campaigns across display, programmatic, video, paid social, etc. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ad operations and digital technologies related to the execution and measurement of multi-channel digital marketing efforts.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the complete trafficking lifecycle of digital campaigns that include but are not limited to Display, Social, Programmatic, Native, Video,etc
  • Actively managing incoming and outgoing creative assets and implementing ad rotations, targeting, and supplemental tracking.
  • Identify and initiate new connections to deliver best in class dynamic creative optimization workflows.
  • Lead our dynamic creative efforts with project management between Media Strategy & Production teams.
  • Stay out front of current & upcoming creative advertising technology and product capabilities.
  • Work closely with the Paid Media team to improve our available DCO capabilities and with Channel Analytics to optimize our creatives toward KPI’s. Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of our creatives & messaging.
  • Main point of contract for dynamic creative troubleshooting with AdTech providers like Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Ad Cloud.
  • Proactively escalating issues and communicating potential challenges to the Manager of Ad Operations and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Performing thorough quality assurance and analysis of creative assets and third party ad tags; providing recommendations and actively contributing solutions to quickly resolve technical or creative spec related issues.
  • Works with Operations Manager to develop and refine standard operating procedure, documentation and training materials.
  • Clear communication and acts proactively, both with creative launches/refreshes as well as creative that needs troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring the launch and tracking of media plan placements through third party and internal reporting tools; actively resolve issues and work with publisher partners to launch placements per a media plan.
  • Understanding media plan objectives, and suggesting framework for campaign setup which will directly translate into reporting and performance outputs.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience in media operations for display, social, and video with a focus on dynamic creative optimization.
  • True data curiosity and ability to derive new insights.
  • Ability with (or demonstrated willingness to learn) JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Creative approach to problem solving; always looking for improvements to the way things are done.
  • Data-driven thinker.
  • Knowledgeable of the media landscape and best practices regarding the design of Display, Native, Mobile, Social & Video ads.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize well in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task comfortably across various projects.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership of a project and seeing it through to completion.
  • Experience with creative advertising technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics

 

 

The budgeted range starts at $60,000 - $73,450.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
