Okay, so you might be asking what will this Designer position do at this newly forming internal shop?


Think of this role similar to an Art Director or Designer. You will partner with copywriters and designers to execute a wide variety of creative projects. From developing year-long multimedia campaigns to executing creative deliverables, you’ll use your talents and point-of-view to help shape the brands within Vail Resorts.


You can expect to work on projects like:

• Concepting and executing year-long campaigns

• Designing creative tactics based on brand guidelines

• Working with the team on photo and video shoots

• Developing and executing logos, digital, email, print, ooh, social content, and other media touchpoints


Job Responsibilities:

• Apply design skills and visual talents to concept and produce creative deliverables (print ads, ooh, digital assets, social media, etc.) based on client needs

• Concept and execute campaigns and media tactics to deliver upon client briefs

• Work with outside vendors to ensure they have the assets they need

• Keep design files up-to-date and organized on SharePoint

• Work with internal Studio Production team to ensure assets are properly handed off

• Champion the creative vision of the team in partnership with internal clients

• Keep a pulse on new and emerging trends that impact the culture of our brands and beyond

• Taking constructive feedback and building upon it to deliver exceptional creative

• Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring they meet deadlines


Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3 years in a design field, ad agency or internal brand

• Strong design skills and able to use Adobe Creative Suite

• Positive attitude in all situations

• Strong organizational and file management skills

• Able to use/learn WorkFront to manage creative projects

The budgeted range starts at $55,000 - $70,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
