Job Summary

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our high-energy, dynamic, and fast-paced culture on the Resort Application Development Team. As a Senior Program Manager, this individual will lead cross-functional teams to integrate software delivery across business, engineering, and operational domains, driving strategic technical outcomes at the program level. Working independently and leading through influence, this individual will combine their exceptional soft skills, business acumen, and agile knowledge to guide the overall program lifecycle. The Senior Program Manager will actively collaborate with software delivery teams, emphasising team unity and shared understanding, to deliver technology solutions for business partners. Recognized as a utility player, this individual will quickly and positively adapt to changing business priorities, helping delivery teams to navigate ambiguity and new ideas.  Success in this role is dependent on building strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups and delivery teams to achieve program outcomes through candid dialogue, tactical problem-solving, and actionable recommendations. Overseeing programs of varying complexity, this role will ensure programs are delivered on-time and on-budget by implementing a solid program structure, clarifying program objectives and success criteria, proactively managing risks and changes, and artfully getting things done.  Reporting directly to the Director of Program Management, this role will contribute to high-impact programs from concept through program close, partnering with senior leadership to actualize business value. Additionally, this role will act as a trusted advisor for key project delivery decisions and help establish best practices to continually improve outcomes.  


Job Responsibilities 

Program/Project Ownership:  

  • Lead program/project management teams through activities including: technical assessments, definition of scope and realistic project plans, identification of resources needed to successfully execute project deliverables, monitoring of project finances, and escalation of project risks and mitigation strategies 

  • Manage and monitor resources, processes, and controls to effectively execute program management functions including: initiating program discovery, understanding internal/external dependencies, identifying critical path and key milestones, ensuring quality deliverables through cross-functional integration testing, and rolling out pilots/full product launches within the organization  

  • Demonstrate timely delivery of software projects based upon the portfolio roadmap, expectations of stakeholders, and operational dependencies  

  • Act as a role model for developing and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with all constituents including business, IT (Information Technology) peers and leaders 

  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, including RFQs, contract negotiations, invoice payment and tracking 


Program/Project Execution:  

  • Provide leadership and agile coaching for a multi-disciplinary delivery team (Business Analysts, Developers, and Quality Analysts) to ensure successful implementation of key initiatives across a diverse technology landscape spanning e-commerce, resort point-of-sale, and other mountain applications  

  • Interact directly with 2-4 project delivery software teams on day-to-day activities, Scrum ceremonies, and release planning based on trunk-based development practices 

  • In partnership with the Project Manager/Scrum Master, orchestrate sprint and release planning to ensure teams are educated about critical milestones/software features and able to deliver against project plans  

  • Work with Principal Architects to identify the best technical solutions, articulating technical direction to key stakeholders and socializing solutions across software delivery teams  


Communication and Meeting Facilitation  

  • Engage and proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of project and program status, milestones, key decisions, issues, dependencies, and operational planning considerations 

  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills to leadership audiences, with the ability to simplify highly technical or complex problems into a logical presentation format 


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree required 

  • 5+ years of experience managing project managers and product launches with a proven track record of delivering on time and on budget 

  • Consulting experience highly preferred 

  • Strong leadership experience with a history of increasing responsibility and career growth 

  • Experience leading program delivery with Scrum/Agile framework and continuing to improve processes 

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Smartsheets 

  • Experience managing vendors 

  • Detail oriented with strong program and project management competencies 

  • Ability to step into projects already in progress, or in need of rescue and effectively assume a leadership role 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills 



  • Certified Project Management Professional 

  • Certified Scrum Master 



The budgeted range starts at $90,000-$120,000 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
