Job Summary:

The Season Pass Marketing team is responsible for driving strategy and go-to-market execution for Vail Resorts' season pass portfolio, anchored by the industry-leading Epic Pass. The team also leads projects from ideation to fruition around innovation for the Pass business.

 

The Senior Manager is responsible for driving new guest growth to the Epic Pass portfolio with a data-driven and guest-centric approach. This individual leverage analyses and insights to develop new business strategies, as well as translating strategies into integrated marketing plans and working cross-functionally to execute campaigns. This role is intended for a driven and creative individual that excels at critical thinking, with high learning agility and a strong sense of ownership.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own development and execution of business and marketing strategies that drive new guest acquisition through clearly defined objectives and demonstrable KPIs 
  • Synthesize internal and external data into compelling business cases and clear performance narratives for executive audiences, demonstrating influence at every level of the organization to get strategy buy-in 
  • Asses and drive strategic opportunities for testing, product and business innovation
  • Manage and mentor a direct report, with focused approach towards professional development and building a high-performing team environment 
  • Partner with Paid Media and Communications Channel teams on business strategy, go-to-market plans and execution, make key recommendations in order to improve or optimize strategy, and bring those recommendations to life 
  • Partner with Epic Pass Brand Team to move the needle on what our brand stands for, and what we mean to our guests 
  • Leverage Tableau dashboards and other data sources to draw clear, concise narratives on business performance in partnership with our Pass Analytics team 
  • Study the competitive landscape and market trends, identify and report out on insights to influence decision-making 

 

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Four-year college degree required. MBA or other advanced business learning or coursework preferred 
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in growth marketing with proven track record of marketing execution, ownership of results, and strong orientation to detail 
  • Experience in preparing and presenting executive-level business cases and storytelling to VP and C-level executives 
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities & drive action
  • Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen 
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated learning agility. Ability to quickly adopt new skills and responsibilities, dive in with curiosity and develop expertise.  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, own collaborative inter-departmental relationships and manage up 
  • No outdoor or ski experience necessary

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $102,000 - $139,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
